A customized blend of orthopedic massage, myofascial release, and stretching techniques with focus on the soft tissue surrounding joints and the health of the joints. The goal is to encourage pain-free range of motion by restoring muscles to their healthy resting length and releasing restrictions from fascial adhesions. Good for treating common orthopedic conditions stemming from repetive strains, sports injuries, postural imbalance from poor work ergonomics, chronic pain, scar tissue from surgery or traumatic injury.

Choose a 60-minute treatment if you have one or two specfic areas that need attention. A longer, 75 or 90-minute treatment is better suited for addressing three or more areas of focus, or if you desire a deeper relaxation experience.

Oncology massage is the adaptation of massage techniques to safely nurture the body of someone affected by cancer and cancer treamtents. This is a safe and effective treatment during active cancer treatment, recovery and survivorship.

Many cancer patients require long-term massage modification. As a trained oncology massage therapist, Andrea has an informed understanding of the pathophysiology of cancer, the side effects of cancer treatments, such as medications, surgery, chemotheropy and radiation, and can adapt massage techniques to safely meet the changing bodywork considerations during and after treatment.

Oncology Massage treatments are scheduled in 90 minute time slots. One hour is for hands-on work and the remaining time is for verbal assessments, updates and discussing each session plan prior to each treatment.

This holistic, evidence-based, body-oriented process addresses the physical symptoms of post-trauma and cumulative stress disorders. Effects of trauma and on-going stress can feel "stuck" in our bodies, reduce our flexibility and move us towards rigidity. Somatic Experiencing® (SE)  provides a framework to assess where a person is "stuck" and helps clients increase their capacity to function with more resiliency and ease.

Touch and physical movement are part of this method, and clients remain fully dressed in comfortable clothing. This is an intentionally slow and gentle process. The aim is to promote better self-regulation through the awareness of body sensations and pshysical patterns, not to re-live or re-enact the story or content details.

This work is helpful for anyone who has experienced accidents, invasive medical prodedures, life-threatening medical diagnosis, chronic illness, sexual or physical assault, emotional abuse, war, natural disasters, grief and loss, birth trauma, or stress from ongoing fear and conflict.

This transformational process supports intentional change and helps develop or enhance positive personal habits. This work is helpful for people who know or have an inkling of a direction they want to go, but feel unsure or "stuck" about how to get there. In the Co-Active® Coaching model, the client determines the destination and the coach helps flush out a road map and maneuver blind spots or road blocks.

This supportive, explorative, accountability process incorporates curious dialogue, mindfulness exercises and perspetive shifting techniques which help clients develop clarity, self-awareness and confidence to naviatate change and transition with more ease, empowerment and engagement.
